Job summary

ABA Centers of Connecticut is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) in North Canaan, CT. Starting pay is $24.60/hr for RBTs and $22.25/hr for BTs, with final compensation based on experience, training and education.

We provide paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement, including the ABA Academy of Excellence to prepare for the RBT exam; referral bonuses are offered for BCBAs and RBTs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
