Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly paraprofessional/behavior therapists to provide direct ABA instruction in Mahopac and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with BCBA and other therapists, communicate with families with updates and strategies for home use, and collect daily data to track each child’s program progress.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience with children aged 2–21 in supervised settings, and completion of a 20-hour training with a competency exam.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• 1–2 years working with children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field

Responsabilités

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate frequently with family members with debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families as required by state and federal laws
