Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time paraprofessionals to join our team serving cases throughout Queens. You'll provide direct ABA instruction under supervision, work with BCBA and therapists, and help families with in-home and community strategies.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with special needs children (2–21) and be enrolled in a psychology, healthcare, or related program.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or a related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond 30-hour training and passing a competency exam.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session and sharing resources for home and community use.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with state and federal regulations.
