Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support children across Brooklyn in home, clinic and community settings. You will provide direct ABA instruction under BCBA supervision and participate in collaborative team meetings with other therapists.

Requirements include 2+ years with special needs children or enrollment in related undergraduate/graduate programs; ABA experience preferred; 20-hour classroom training with competency exam;

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• OR current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing grade on competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists.
• Communicate frequently with family members with debriefs and resources for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and organize child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
