Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring Part-time, Hourly Behavior Therapist Interns in the Melville area to provide direct ABA instruction under the supervision of a BCBA. You will collaborate with therapists and families to support children's development in home, community, or clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a supervised setting.
• Enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field. ABA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with family members by providing debriefs, resources, and strategies for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
