Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists for cases throughout Brooklyn. You will provide direct ABA instruction under the supervision of a BCBA, collaborate with the therapy team, and communicate regularly with families to support home and community strategies.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience with children ages 2–21, or are currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad/grad program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergrad/grad program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience with ABA preferred.
• Completion of Achieve Beyond 20-hour classroom training and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction per the plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
