Job summary

First Children Services in Scotch Plains, NJ is seeking a part-time BT/RBT to implement the Individual Support Plan under supervision. This role offers a dynamic schedule and the potential for permanent placement after training, across regional settings.

You will read and implement treatment plans, collect session data, and submit documentation while supporting healthy communication, social, and behavioral skills in diverse clinical environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years working with children.
• Comfortable working with a variety of children and behavioral needs across settings without direct supervisor.
• Demonstrate competence with ABA principles and interventions.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings within the designation region.
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills.
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks when billable hours are not available.
