Job summary

Triumph ABA in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to work directly with clients, implementing ABA under supervision of a BCBA. Role includes in-home or community-based therapy, data collection, and collaboration with families and the therapy team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of experience with children, and strong communication and organizational skills. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working with children or in a related field.
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work M-TH 4:30-6:30 or 5:30-7:30 and Sundays 3:30-6.
• Examples of related jobs include Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher, and related roles.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work collaboratively with supervisors and clinical staff.
• Ability to maintain strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one in-home or community-based ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of client progress and session notes.
• Implement behavioral plans developed by the BCBA/LBA.
• Collaborate with therapy team and families.
• Respond promptly to client and supervisor needs.
• Maintain clear communication with families and stakeholders.
