Job summary

STEPS Behavioral Health in Joppa, MD seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in homes, schools, or clinics under a BCBA-designed plan. You will collect data, collaborate with families and team members, and maintain a safe, positive session environment.

Must have or pursue RBT certification and be able to pass a background check. Evenings are available with potential for day shifts as caseload grows; paid training to obtain RBT certification is provided and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain your RBT Certification.
• Previous experience with children.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-clinic
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and document data on client progress
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions
