Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking an ABA Child Behavior Specialist for our Virginia center-based program. This part-time role focuses on implementing individualized plans to reduce unsafe behaviors and build communication and social skills, under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, experience with children, and an active registered behavior technician credential or completion of IH training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and experience with children.
• Must possess a current RBT credential or complete 40-hour training within 6 months (IH provides training).
• Bachelor's in Behavioral Science preferred; ABA experience is a plus; afternoon availability until 6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement individualized plans based on client targets.
• Observe skills and collect data to assess and develop program goals.
• Work with children/adolescents/young adults with autism or developmental disabilities in a center-based program.
• Promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills under supervision.
