Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia is seeking an ABA Child Behavior Specialist for our center-based program, serving children and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities. This part-time role focuses on implementing individualized plans to reduce unsafe behaviors and build language, communication, and social skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Must have a high school diploma and experience working with children.
Must possess a current RBT credential or complete the 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam within 6 months of hire (intercept health provides training compensation).
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science preferred; ABA experience with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
Afternoon availability through 6 PM.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized plans based on client targets, aiming to decrease unsafe behaviors and increase communication and social skills.
Observe client skills and collect data to assess abilities and develop program goals.
Work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities in a center-based program that promotes language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
