Job summary

Study Smart Tutors seeks enthusiastic instructors, tutors, family facilitators, and educational consultants in Vallejo, CA. In-person sessions are required with a fixed Wednesday time slot, and candidates must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Wednesdays from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math (Calculus & Statistics) and ELA.
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
