Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in Sacramento, CA is seeking tutors to deliver Math and ELA support to students in small and large groups, with in-person sessions after school.

You will access class assignments, adapt materials, and collaborate with the Education team to provide effective learning strategies.

Qualifications

• Must have a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM; Thursdays from 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM PST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.

• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students
