Job summary

Study Smart seeks dedicated tutors to deliver Math (Calculus), Science (Chemistry and Biology), and ELA tutoring for 9th–12th graders. You will support small and large groups, access assignment materials, adapt to new teaching methods, and maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.

The role requires a completed 4-year degree, in-person availability, and passing a background check. Hours: Tuesdays 2:30 PM–4:30 PM; Wednesdays 2:00 PM–4:00 PM, with a strong commitment to educational

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math (Calculus), Science (Chemistry and Biology) and ELA
• Grades: 9th - 12th
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM and Wednesday from 2:00 PM - 4:00: PM.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
