Job summary

Study Smart Tutors is seeking a Part-Time 9th-12th Grade Math & ELA Tutor for Washington, DC. The role requires in-person availability and a completed 4-year degree, with a schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 9:45 AM to 12:45 PM
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
