Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in Sacramento, CA seeks tutors to deliver in-person tutoring for ELA, Math, and other subjects. You will support small and large groups and adapt to new materials, coordinating with the education team.

Applicants must have a completed 4-year degree, be available in-person Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00–5:00 PM PT, and pass a background check. Competitive pay and employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups and large groups of students.
• Access class assignment information and adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
