Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Cashier for the 2nd shift (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM) in Fredericksburg, PA. The role processes customer transactions, operates the POS, and ensures a friendly, efficient service while maintaining a clean checkout area.

The position emphasizes customer service, accuracy in cash handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced cafeteria setting. Prior cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and accurately process cash, credit, and other approved forms of payment.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Provide friendly and professional service to team members and customers.
• Assist customers with questions regarding menu items, pricing, and cafeteria services.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Report POS equipment issues or payment processing concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist other cafeteria stations and areas as needed to support daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
