Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a Cafe Cashier for 1st and 2nd shifts in Fredericksburg, PA. The role involves processing customer transactions at the POS, handling cash, and delivering friendly service during busy cafeteria hours.

The position requires basic math skills, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Shifts run 6:30AM-3:00PM and 3:00PM-11:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and accurately process cash, credit, and other approved forms of payment.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Provide friendly and professional service to team members and customers.
• Assist customers with questions regarding menu items, pricing, and cafeteria services.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Report POS equipment issues or payment processing concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist other cafeteria stations and areas as needed to support daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
