Dallastown Area School District is seeking a Part-Time, 10-Month Classroom Paraprofessional for Ore Valley Elementary School, starting the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports classroom teachers in delivering services to students and helping create pathways for student success.

Responsibilities include supporting students one-on-one or in small groups, supervising students in various settings, and assisting with learning materials and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to carry out oral and written communications/instructions and work cooperatively with others.
• Acceptable record of attendance.

Job description

The Dallastown Area School District is seeking a Part-Time, 10-Month Classroom Paraprofessional for Ore Valley Elementary School beginning the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting classroom teachers in the delivery of supports and services to students.

Work Schedule / Pay Periods For 10-Month Position

• Work hours will be 9:15a.m. - 3:15p.m. which is 5.50 working hours and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year -- approximately 177 student days mid-August through early June. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor.
• While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you will enjoy summer off to spend more time with your family
• For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late June
