The Dallastown Area School District is seeking a Part-Time, 10-Month Classroom Paraprofessional for Ore Valley Elementary School beginning the start of the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting classroom teachers in the delivery of supports and services to students.

Work Schedule / Pay Periods for 10-Month Position

• Work hours will be 9:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. which is 5.50 working hours and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year - approximately 177 student days mid-August through early June. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor.
• While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you will enjoy summer off to spend more time with your family
• For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late June

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to carry out oral and written communications/instructions and work cooperatively with others
• Acceptable record of attendance
