Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration or related field required; equivalent combo considered.
• Two years in recreation field required; summer day camp experience preferred.
• Texas Class C driver's license required.
• Experience with children and diverse populations preferred.
• Computer literacy with word processing and database software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise summer day camp staff and attendees.
• Hire, train, and supervise seasonal camp Directors and Counselors.
• Coordinate recreation staff for summer camps across sites.
• Design and evaluate recreation programs, events and activities.
• Supervise large groups and ensure health and safety standards.
• Publicize and evaluate programs and events.
