Job summary

City of Mebane is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform manual maintenance of parks, playgrounds, community centers, and lakes. Work is guided by a park maintenance supervisor and evaluated on task completion, cleanliness, and facility operation based on public feedback and inspections.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old with preferred experience in grounds and facilities maintenance and a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Some work experience in grounds and facilities maintenance preferred.
• Possession or ability to maintain valid North Carolina Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual work involving the maintenance of City parks, playgrounds, community centers, and lakes.
• Works under the supervision of a park's maintenance supervisor and is evaluated on completion of performance objectives, cleanliness, and proper operation of park facilities, public feedback, and visual inspection of completed work.
