Job summary

Gaston County Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in planning and executing Senior Games, programs, and events across county parks and the Senior Center. You will help create promotional content, manage facility reservations, and support daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction and community engagement.

A High School Diploma and one year of related experience are required; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva is expected, with the ability to lift

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, logistics and day-of event execution of Senior Games, Recreation Programs and Special Events.
• Create engaging promotional content, brochures, flyers, digital assets and social media posts; order branded merchandise.
• Provide back-up for facility reservations, update schedules, and monitor department inventory.
• Support seamless operations and guest satisfaction at Gaston County Senior Center.
