Job summary

State of Nevada’s Division Office of the Nevada Division of State Parks in Carson City seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to oversee capital improvement projects, develop bid-ready plan sets, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will coordinate with internal and external partners, manage schedules and budgets, and present technical findings to management and public stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Experience with planning, coordinating, and managing capital improvement projects.
• Ability to develop biddable plan sets, bid documents, and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule and oversee program/project activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare reports, letters, memos, agreements, and forms for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and present complex engineering information to management and at briefings.
• Attend public meetings and hearings to provide technical expertise.
• Write, review, negotiate and secure consultant/contractor agreements and coordinate activities.
• Analyze complex data and contribute to new policies and procedures.
