Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid state of Florida driver’s license.
• Must possess 7 years of experience in park maintenance programs.
• Must possess 4 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs staff, supervising performance.
• Develops and implements policies and programs for park facilities.
• Meets with vendors and contractors for maintenance tasks.
• Inspects parks, landscapes, irrigation, turf, facilities.
• Identifies maintenance needs and develops repair plans.
• Answers resident complaints and follows up; reports deficiencies.
• Coordinates events at county facilities.
• Operates and maintains all parks and recreation facilities.
• Trains and supervises staff.
• Represents division; provides facilities, materials, equipment.
• Administers annual budget; reviews payroll and purchases.
• Essential personnel during emergencies.
