Qualifications

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
At least 2 years of programming experience for community events.
CPR/AED required within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct a broad range of recreation programs and events.
Oversee daily facility operations at Laurel Park, Nokomis Community Park, and Venice Train Depot.
Ensure facilities are clean, safe, accessible and well-maintained.
Coordinate facility reservations, rentals, and shared use.
Maintain relationships with community organizations and volunteers.
Provide recommendations on staffing and operational procedures to the Recreation Division Manager.
