Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience.
• Five years of park maintenance experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise park maintenance division operations and programs.
• Coordinate work with other divisions and departments.
• Establish procedures and policies and ensure subordinate action.
• Prepare a wide variety of reports on activities as requested.
• Oversee contract mowing areas and nursery, landscape and irrigation design.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and purchasing for the division.
• Supervise staff, succession planning, and staff development.
