Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic mathematical principles.

• Knowledge of highway repair and maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of maintenance rating program and operation of power tools, heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Communicating verbally and in writing; pre- and post-trip inspections for CMVs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees; motivate, train, and evaluate; plan and direct work.
• Assist the Maintenance Field Operations Manager in surveys and highway inspections.
• Select materials, equipment, and workloads; plan time and objectives for crews.
• Provide technical instruction on roadside defects and corrective actions.
