• Establishes procedures and policies and ensures subordinates take appropriate action.
• Handles correspondence; prepares reports on activities as requested.
• Oversees plant and tree nursery, designs landscape and irrigation systems.
• Supervises setup/breakdown for special events.
• Requisitions and purchases supplies and materials; budgets and staffing.
• Makes field inspections and provides further instructions.
• Inspects playground equipment and facilities.
• Develops business and staffing plans and implements goals.
