City and County of Denver is seeking a Parks Utility Worker I to support park maintenance in Denver’s Northwest and Northeast districts. The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with some weekend shifts for events or snow response.

You will perform restroom and general park upkeep, use hand and motorized tools, and assist with large- and small-scale events while learning from experienced staff in a diverse, inclusive team.

Formación

• Licensure: valid Driver's License required at application.
• No prior park maintenance experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform restroom maintenance and janitorial duties.
• General park maintenance: trash removal, vandalism repair, graffiti removal.
• Work outdoors using hand-powered tools and motorized equipment.
• Support park operations for events of varying sizes.
• Landscape tasks: turf, irrigation, ornamental gardening.
• Infrastructure work: fencing, asphalt, concrete, trails, erosion control.
• Snow removal operations; plowing and de-icing.
• Collaborate with experienced park maintenance staff and specialists.
