Job summary

Florida International University seeks a Parking & Transportation Operations Manager to lead the Parking & Transportation team, develop program policies, and monitor service metrics. You will ensure data systems controls, drive standards, and improve processes to maximize customer satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating staffing for projects, collaborating with FIU departments, and guiding performance improvements. Occasional travel to FIU locations and emergency coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of related experience or eight years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Manages, supports and directs Parking & Transportation team members and develops program policies, procedures, and evaluations.
• Monitors service metrics and uses data to develop standards and process improvements.
• Provides guidance to front line team members and assists with procedure development.
• Ensures high customer satisfaction by maintaining service thresholds aligned with FIU standards.
• Manages staffing needs for projects and assignments.
• Serves as liaison between FIU departments to support initiatives.
• Plans and directs operations to improve productivity and ensure staff coverage; trains and evaluates staff.
• Oversees on-demand, shuttle and golf cart transportation services and coordinates with vendors.
• Manages and optimizes parking management software for permitting and enforcement, analyzes data for trends, and works with IT to resolve issues.
