Job summary

Sharks Sports and Entertainment is seeking a Parking Supervisor in San Jose, CA. This part-time, non-exempt role oversees daily parking operations, coordinates with department heads, manages staff, and maintains financial records for events.

You will assist in recruiting, training, and supervising attendants, create monthly schedules, and ensure CA wage/hour compliance while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in parking or event management.
• Ability to train and mentor parking attendants.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily parking operations and ensure guest experience.
• Delegate tasks and optimize staff deployments for efficiency.
• Assist Senior Parking Manager with recruitment, training, and HR documentation.
• Prepare monthly staff schedules and ensure coverage for events.
• Reconcile parking cashier sales and maintain accurate financial records.
• Input data into financial tracking and sales spreadsheets.
• Audit time-keeping records and address discrepancies per policy.
• Coordinate with SJPD for event traffic control and payroll issues.
• Brief attendants on event requirements and CA wage/hour compliance.
• Manage breaks under CA wage and hour laws.
• Oversee primary lot ingress, ADA access, and contingency planning.
