Job summary

Sharks Sports and Entertainment, LLC is hiring a part-time, non-exempt Supervisor to operate Sharks Ice in San Jose. The role requires overseeing staff when leaders are away and maintaining ice quality, equipment, and customer service standards.

You must be available for 2/3 of each month, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. The position includes benefits such as tickets, discounts, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Must wear SSE uniform during all shifts.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds; work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates the facility and supervises employees in the absence of the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Supervisor Lead.
• Ensure shifts are sufficiently staffed and that policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain ice surface and equipment; oversee vending, skate rental, and product availability.
• Assist with event operations, private ice rentals, and party bookings.
• Monitor security and ensure building security at day's end.
