Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Maintenance Porter - Driving at the PORTLAND ME location. The role involves facility maintenance, customer interactions, and basic housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient parking environment.

Responsibilities include performing cleaning and upkeep tasks, inspecting gates and ticket systems, and assisting customers with service needs. A valid driver’s license is required, with availability for shift variations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Oral communication: speaks clearly; listens and asks for clarification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and address maintenance problems.
• Sweep entrances, exits, and restrooms; clean rails and surfaces on all levels.
• Empty trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint as directed to maintain surfaces (poles, signs, doors, curbs).
• Replace burned-out bulbs; apply absorbent for spills; report repairs.
