Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Parking Attendant to maintain a safe and organized parking environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will direct traffic, monitor compliance, and report safety concerns while ensuring a positive guest experience.

The role requires vigilance, clear communication with guests and team members, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic setting. An active driver’s license and basic computer/report writing skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in parking operations, security, or traffic control.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, contractors.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm in high-traffic or stressful situations.
• Basic computer and report writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Knowledge of hotel parking regulations and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to identify and report safety concerns.

• Verify compliance with hotel parking rules, permits, and designated parking assignments; issue parking warnings and citations for violations.

About The Role

Responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and organized parking environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. This position provides parking directives, regulates construction traffic, monitors compliance with parking regulations, issues citations for violations and reports safety and security concerns. The attendant serves as a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities and promote a positive guest experience while ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the property.

What You Will Do

• Monitor parking lots, garages, and designated parking areas to ensure safety, security, and compliance with property regulations.
• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic, provide parking instructions, and maintain orderly parking operations while reducing congestion.
• Regulate and coordinate construction-related vehicle traffic, enforce designated access routes, and maintain safe traffic flow with contractors and project managers.
• Verify compliance with hotel parking rules, permits, and designated parking assignments; issue parking warnings and citations for violations.

What you bring

• Previous experience in parking operations, security, traffic control, construction site access control, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, contractors, and management.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in high-traffic or stressful situations.
• Basic computer and report writing skills.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• .Knowledge of Hotel parking regulations, traffic control practices, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to identify and report safety, security, and construction-related concerns.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
