Job summary

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking qualified candidates for one full-time Parking Enforcement Officer position (temporary up to six months) and one part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week, temporarily up to twelve months). Qualifications

• One year of experience involving public contact and independent decision-making.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.
• Must meet the City Driving History Standard.

Responsibilities

• Patrol an assigned route on foot and/or in a parking enforcement vehicle.
• Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes and issue citations.
• Explain code and policy requirements to the public.
• Provide information regarding parking regulations to a diverse population.
• Maintain an accurate log of daily parking enforcement activity.
• Respond to parking complaints and inquiries related to enforcement.
