Job summary

Propark Mobility is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer in Houston, TX for full-time and part-time roles. The job requires patrolling assigned areas, issuing citations, and using license plate reading tech to record offenses. You may assist with towing and vehicle maintenance and perform customer interactions with the company’s standards of service.

Shifts run 4pm–10pm with weekends and holidays. The role includes benefits and a robust EAP program, plus free parking and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old or older.
• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Patrols an assigned area to observe vehicles for parking violations in multiple locations.
• Issue citations for improper parking and related violations.
• Operate license plate reading technology and enter citation data accurately.
• Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.
• Check vehicle condition and perform routine maintenance and fueling as needed.
• Boot vehicles in violation using a Barnacle device and resolve issues with customers.
• Provide company standards of service and assist customers with questions.
• Assist with small cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by management.

Propark Mobility is currently hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

What we're looking for

• Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and other vehicles for parking violations in multiple locations
• Issues citations for improper use of specifically designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations.
• Operate a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface.
• Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.
• Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as fueling the vehicle
• Completes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of offense, vehicle license plate number and/or vehicle identification number;
• Trash pickup at multiple locations
• \"Boot\" Vehicles that are in violation with a device called the Barnacle
• Exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.
• Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues
• May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
• Other special projects as assigned by location management.
