Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is hiring a parking attendant for SP+ operations in Wilmington, NC. You will help manage parking flow, direct customers, and ensure the lot is clean and safe. The shift runs 7:00am to 4:30pm with rotating days.

Responsibilities include counting vehicles, issuing warnings for policy violations, assisting customers, and performing basic maintenance as directed by the Facility Manager. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Availability: Work 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required.
• Language: Read/write simple instructions and communicate with customers.
• Math: Basic arithmetic for cash handling.
• Appearance: Maintain neat, clean uniform.
• Physical: Lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with carts as applicable.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked their vehicle.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled day.
• Assist customers and refer to Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances/exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and tasks as directed.
