Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geography of the area enforcing
• Ability to apply parking regulations accurately
• Strong customer service orientation and tactful communication
• Must be 18 years or older at time of hire
• Capacity to operate a handheld computer and related devices
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments under pressure
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to walk for extended periods and navigate campus/streets

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, or campus to ensure parking policy compliance.
• Provide customer service by answering questions on directions/events/building locations and policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance using handheld devices or tickets; impound/relocate vehicles as directed.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep tasks.
• Assist in collection and security of parking revenues and fees.
• Support event staff with parking-related activities and traffic control.
• Assist in permit sales data entry and frontline customer service during peak seasons.
• Other related duties as assigned.
