Job summary

SP+ is hiring a part-time Attendant in Jersey City, NJ. The role supports on-site operations for parking facilities, guiding customers, counting vehicles, and enforcing garage policies.

You will assist customers, maintain cleanliness, and help with general parking tasks under supervision. Requirements include minimal education or limited experience, a valid state driver’s license, and flexibility for varying shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with motor carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Maintain consistent attendance and wear uniform.
• Assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits.
