Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring for part-time parking attendant roles in Charlotte, NC. You will guide customers to parking spaces, monitor vehicle flow, and enforce garage policies in a uniformed, customer-friendly manner.

Responsibilities include assisting visitors, managing traffic, reporting incidents, and supporting garage maintenance. A valid driver's license is required, with availability for various shifts including weekends. Apply by [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience or equivalent combination.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with address and acceptable driving record.
• Availability: May include 2nd/3rd shift and weekends depending on location needs.
• Language Skills: Ability to read simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information one-on-one.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic addition, subtraction, two-digit numbers and money calculations.
• Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance in uniform.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, handle cash/equipment, lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location during shift.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or with motor carts.
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked.
• Be punctual and in uniform for every scheduled day.
• Assist customers by answering questions or directing to Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of parking equipment and general tasks as directed by Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards or incidents to Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when necessary.
• Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas and local streets.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
