Job summary

Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Park Supervisor to oversee daily park operations, staff supervision, and program delivery across multiple facilities in Arizona. You will lead administrative and maintenance tasks, ensure resource protection, and coordinate with partners to maximize visitor experiences.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a park or related recreation field.
• One year of supervisory experience in a park or recreation environment.
• High School Diploma.
• Post-secondary education or related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operation of a regional park and its services.
• Oversee park programs, amenities, events, and safety programs.
• Protect park resources; manage revenue and budgets; supervise staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate maintenance and facility needs; inspect and manage infrastructure.
• Liaise with stakeholders and agencies on park operations.
• Develop marketing initiatives to promote the Park and events.
• Prepare reports on revenue, attendance, budgets, and safety.
