Job summary

Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Park Supervisor to lead daily park operations and oversee administrative and maintenance activities. You will supervise a diverse team, coordinate programs, and ensure safety, resource protection, and exceptional visitor experiences across park facilities.

You will also manage staff, budgets, revenue-generating operations, and multi-agency coordination while developing programs and partnerships to enhance our regional parks and trails.

Qualifications

• Three years of park or related recreation field experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise the daily operation of a regional park and its services, facilities, and activities.
• Oversee park programs and amenities, events, resources.
• Supervise, hire, evaluate, and train park staff and volunteers; schedule work.
• Ensure safety, manage resources, revenue generation, and compliance with park rules.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs; monitor budgets and expenditures; prepare reports.
