The Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism is seeking a Park Specialist to assist in daily maintenance, visitor services, and conservation within Arkansas state parks.

You will help keep park facilities safe and accessible, provide customer service, educate guests on park regulations, and support recreational programs to enhance the visitor experience.

This full-time position offers opportunities to lead at times, work with staff, and contribute to Arkansas’s outdoor heritage.

Formación

• Six months of experience in customer service or related field.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping.
• Experience handling cash and deposits.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and use computers.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and confirms reservations and manages front desk operations.
• Greets and registers guests, assigns rooms, and ensures smooth check-in.
• Answers inquiries about park services, directions, and local attractions.
• Maintains guest account records and posts charges.
• Totals and balances cash and prepares daily reports.
• Monitors inventory and merchandise; assists with events and housekeeping.
