Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Park Maintenance Supervisor 1 to lead maintenance work for the Memorial Lake State Park Complex. You will supervise staff, plan tasks, manage resources, and support safe, smooth operations across facilities, grounds, and park utilities.

This is a full-time role with a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, five days per week, and some holidays/weekends. Telework is not available. A conditional offer may require background checks and residency considerations.

Qualifications

• Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the listed trades or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Organize schedules, assign tasks, and ensure effective use of staff and equipment.
• Prepare for construction and maintenance projects by managing materials and reviewing plans.
• Train employees, complete evaluations, and maintain personnel documentation.
• Provide safety training, maintain protective equipment, and address hazards promptly.
• Guide proper use and upkeep of vehicles, tools, and construction equipment.
• Support the care of buildings, grounds, and park utility systems to meet operational needs.
