Job summary

Montgomery County PA is seeking a Park Supervisor to oversee daily park operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and coordinate with friends groups to provide safe, enjoyable experiences for visitors.

You will support the Region Manager with budgeting, procurement, scheduling and program planning, supervise grounds and buildings maintenance, and coordinate with partners, contractors and outside funding sources.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in Parks and Recreation, Wildlife Management, Environmental Resource Management or related field with supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have understanding of related laws, rules and policies applicable to this work.
• Must read/write/speak English and have a valid Driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily park operations and supervise staff.
• Coordinate with volunteers, friends groups and outside support organizations.
• Assist Region Manager with budgeting, purchasing, scheduling and payroll.
• Supervise grounds and building maintenance with Region Manager.
• Plan projects and programs aligned with the park’s mission.
• Coordinate with partners for grants, sponsorships and donations.
• Ensure safety and high-quality visitor experiences at all times.
