Job summary

The City of Kenosha is seeking a maintenance worker for parks, facilities and equipment upkeep under supervision. You will perform a variety of manual tasks including painting, mowing, equipment operation, custodial work, and snow removal, with occasional events support.

Responsibilities require CDL B with air brakes within 1 year, long shifts in snow, outdoor work in all weather, and safe operation of heavy equipment. Local benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Experience performing construction or building maintenance preferred.
• Must pass post-offer physical, MVR review, and possibly a DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Paints buildings and equipment, mows grass, plants trees, trims shrubs.
• Operates chain saw, wood chipper, tractors, and other park equipment.
• Performs custodial tasks and handles waste collection and cleanup.
