Job summary

City of Kenosha is seeking a seasoned Public Works Supervisor to oversee the daily administration, coordination, and supervision of street, parks, and infrastructure operations. You will ensure safety, manage staff, track work progress, and prepare cost analyses and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of MUTCD and public works practices, and a valid CDL-B. You will participate in hiring and maintaining digital records while handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced coursework preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' infrastructure construction/maintenance experience; 1 year supervisory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily work schedules and assign personnel.
• Oversee equipment needs, maintenance, and safety.
• Oversee snow/ice removal and emergency response.
• Participate in hiring, evaluation, and discipline.
• Prepare division budget and cost analyses.
