Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
• Able to operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance, repair, and construction activities for the Parks Facility Maintenance Division.
• Coordinates purchase, delivery of supplies, and monitors inventory.
• Reviews and guides park facility maintenance technicians on current projects.
• Schedules work orders for projects and tracks time/material expenses.
• Inspects facilities and prepares status reports; maintains logs and payroll forms.
• May be on-call 24 hours and participates in annual budget development.
• Hires, trains, assigns, directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel.
• Coordinates contractor activities and department meetings.
