Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative I. Responsibilities include assisting the public in person and by phone, handling revenue and permit sales, processing campsite registrations, and preparing reports.

The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to work under supervision in a public park environment. Expected duties also cover clerical tasks, daily revenue accounting, and maintenance of office areas; driving a state vehicle

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or GED.
• One year experience in general clerical, cash handling or customer service work.
• Must possess or be able to obtain, within 30 days of employment, a valid State driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide information to the public in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Handle revenue collection and permit sales.
• Process automated campsite registration and daily revenue accounting.
• Perform clerical duties including report preparation and correspondence processing.
• Operate credit card machine and computer sales machine; use Windows, Word and Excel.
• Maintain cleanliness of Headquarters and restrooms; follow safety rules.
